Andrew_F_Smith Andrew straddles the North-South divide, having spent most of his working life in London but, over the past five years, he has learnt to love Manchester. Andrew’s working life began as researcher to former deputy prime minister, Michael Heseltine and he has maintained an interest in politics since – though who he’ll vote for next is anyone’s guess. He has spent more than 25 years in professional services marketing – half of that specialising in insolvency and debt, and played a major role in raising the profile of the insolvency profession and it’s regulatory and representative bodies both in Britain and abroad. At ClearDebt, Andrew has played a part in bringing about the formation of the Debt Resolution Forum (the industry’s representative, training and regulation body) and works closely with the Office of Fair Trading, the Insolvency Service and the Ministry of Justice on personal debt matters.
