i have debts over 10k on credit cards, store cards, overdraft and loans. they have been passed now to different collection agencies.

I am unemployed and on benefits and i dont think i will be getting at job in the near future because of my nerves. I dont really have anything to give the collection companies

what should i do?

I fear the answer is simple; sounds drastic, but will actually come as a great relief: It's unlikely anything other than bankruptcy will be of much help I'm afraid. But, it will enable you to put all your debts behind you.

Of course - we don't know the full circumstances of your case and you do need to talk things over with an appropriate advisor to whom you can tell all. For example, if you have a house and a mortgage, different advice might be given.

If you decide to look seriously at the bankruptcy route (which could remove a significan source of stres from you life), try calling the Bankruptcy Advisory Service.

This may not sound like positive advice at the moment, but I suspect you'll look back and decide that it is! Do take specific advice though.
