Hello,
I hope you will be able to help/advise me,
I became bankrupt in April 2006, since however, I have been able to sort my life out a bit now and have got myself a pretty good job!
This means I now have surplus which I never expected I would have. Can I somehow stop the bankruptcy and start paying back my creditors...?
I do want to do the right thing now i am earning, and also try and improve my credit rating etc ...
Please let me know what you think i should do,
Look forward to your response |

You would need to check with your Trustee/Official Reciever.
Most bankbupcty orders last only twelve months, so you may be discharged from your bankruptcy order very soon any way. Again, you would need to check this.
Finally, if you were given an income payments order, you should check your bankruptcy petition clauses. You may be asked to contribute more into your income payment order given your improved financial circumstances. But every bankruptcy case is different.
